BOD INCUBATOR

The Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) incubator is a specialized laboratory instrument used to quantify the oxygen consumed by microorganisms in water or wastewater samples. The BOD test is a widely recognized method for assessing water pollution levels and evaluating the efficacy of treatment processes.

Features:

• Constructed with double-walled inner stainless steel featuring a buff finish, complemented by either exterior stainless steel or mild steel that is powder-coated.

• PUF  Insulation is employed to minimize-heat glass transfer.

• Air circulation is ensured through a motorized blower, promoting uniform temperature distribution.

• The unit is equipped with either a digital on/off controller or a digital PID controller.

• Temperature range: from ambient temperature of 5°C up to 60°C.

• Accuracy: ±2°C.

• Uniformity: ±1°C.

• Stainless steel trays are available in either SS mesh or perforated SS designs.

• Features a Full – length inner glass door for observation during testing.

• Includes a double-walled insulated door outfitted with a silicone gasket.

• Utilizes a CFC-free sealed compressor, fan motor, and condenser.
